January 2006
Hi Angel, I think
I sent you these last year..... they are pics from
November 04 (only his second HT after just one year with us) but I do
not own him anymore. I competed him twice, and my daughter once and he
did extremely well. I was ready to move him up to Prelim when I sold
him. I was not advertising him, but a young rider really wanted him, so
he went to a wonderful home in Alabama to a 15 yr old young rider. She
absolutely loves Gap and feels blessed to own him. Her name is Lexi
Holdsbrook and you can still track Gap's progress on the USEA website.
He is number 1 horse in his new home and is very happy.
Thanks for keeping in touch,

2004 Happy New Year
Wanted to give you an update on Gap. We are totally in love with this horse. He is truly amazing. I have taken him cross country schooling a couple of times and he eats it up (I might add that the first time was BY HIMSELF due to circumstances and it was no problem for him). He is very bold and honest. I have put a lot of work into his dressage and it shows. He is becoming more balanced and accepting of the bit. My eleven year old daughter just rode him this weekend in a clinic bc her Go Bragh pony was under the weather and she and Gap were superstars. He worked his way through a very complex gymnastic and over an oxxer like it was nothing….. And with an itty bitty girl. My 14 yr old son has also decided to start riding again and he is really enjoying Gap. He says he doesn't want to show, but you never know. Once he goes out schooling with us he may get the bug. We plan to compete him late this summer after he turns four. He still only wears front shoes. He also travels extremely well. Ties to the trailer like he has been doing it his whole life. You really did a nice job with him.Donna (1/04)
